Canton Fair International Pavilion Conference on September 15th 2023
Euroasia Group in strategic cooperation with China Foreign Trade Center held with great success the Canton Fair International Pavilion Conference on September 15, 2023, in which participated: representatives of China Foreign Trade Center, the Chinese Embassy in Albania, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Tirana, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Albania and as well representatives of more than 40 well-recognized Albanian Businesses.
The event was also covered by CRI-China Radio International in Tirana, Albania.
Canton Fair, established in 1957, has been successfully held for 133 sessions and is held every spring and autumn in Guangzhou, China. Canton Fair is an international trading event with the longest history, the largest scale, the most complete exhibit variety, the largest buyer attendance, the most diverse buyer source country, the greatest business turnover and the best reputation in China.
For the last few decades, China has been one of the 3 largest importers of goods to our country, including raw materials, finished products, as well as production machinery in various fields.
Exports are still at limited levels but with the potential to increase in the near future. Here we can mention agricultural products, minerals, and the field of services, such as tourism, where our market is receiving significant development.
This conference not only provided Albanian businesses with structured and comprehensive information on one of the most important trading fairs in the international markets but also served as a platform for Chinese and Albanian government and business leaders to:
- Assist with the promotion of China Export and Import Fair (known as Canton Fair)
- Encourage more exhibitors and buyers from Albania to explore the Chinese market via the Canton Fair
- Further, Strengthen the bilateral trade and investment relationship
The conference proved to be very helpful and productive and was followed by several important meetings and connection and network development.
