EUCNC Albania At The Boao 2019 International Summit

Our Chairman, Mr. Iliirjan Koxhioni, represented EUCNC Albania at the Boao 2019 International Summit which explored the financing options available to various sectors such as agribusiness and food as well as tourism.

Our Chairman’s speech explained our cooperation in the 17+1 countries through which we implement Belt and Road projects and how we facilitate the financing aspects of these projects. His speech and expertise were well received and appreciated by the audience and the overall summit was a big success.

Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) was inaugurated in Boao, Hainan Province, China by 29 Asian-Pacific countries including China and Mongolia in 2001. The BFA is dedicated to promoting Asian countries to achieve common development through further integration of regional economies. Each spring, the BFA holds its Annual Conference in Boao, bringing together senior government officials, corporate leaders and insightful scholars and experts from Asia and other parts of the world for an intensive brainstorming on the most pressing issues of the world and emerging economies in Asia. Other than the BFA Annual Conferences, BFA also holds overseas conferences, forums and symposiums in collaboration with its partners throughout the year.

In April 2018, BFA elected the new Board of Directors. Dr. BAN Ki-moon, the 8th Secretary General of the United Nations, was elected as Chairman of the Board and Mr. ZHOU Xiaochuan, former Governor of the People’s Bank of China, was elected as Vice Chairman. Mr. LI Baodong, former vice foreign minister of China was elected Secretary-General.
